Call of Duty: Season One of Modern Warfare will begin on December 3 this year and is free to all Modern Warfare players.
Announced on the official Twitter handle of Call of Duty, the update will include new multiplayer maps, new ground war maps, new 2v2 gunfight maps, new multiplayer modes, new special ops experiences, and new weapons. Oh, is that so! No wonder they are calling it the biggest free content drop in COD history.
Season 1 will be available at the same time on 3 December on all platforms. This comes when Activision decided not to go with the traditionally paid season pass of duty: to deliver more free maps and content to modern war efforts. All players as a post-launch event.
