Overwatch Director Jeff Kaplan Teases New Character

Blizzard has previously confirmed that it has at least four undeclared Overwatch 2 characters in its arsenal. Although the developers have not revealed specifics about these characters, Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan may have hinted at one of them. To celebrate the holiday season, Kaplan hosted a Yule log stream.

In the stream, Kaplan teased an already established character named Junker Queen while he was building an Overwatch Lego set. She did not confirm whether the junk queen would be a hero, however, she did speculate about which role she might take. Kaplan said, "I wonder if the queen is ever going to be a hero ... what will she be? She's not going to support, right? It doesn't matter much." He continued, "Maybe He is a tank, he can do damage, damage or the tank will calm down. ”Right after this statement, he goes back to his Lego set. The couple did not provide any other details about Junker Queen or Overwatch 2.

The junk queen is the Empress of the Junkyard, who sends her goons roughly to the city's residents when they don't pay taxes. However, he is quite capable of being a skilled combat fighter as well as a former fighter and champion of Scapard.
