Google Stadia Game Streaming Testing Spotted on Non-Pixel Android Devices

Google noted in November last year that it wanted to run Stadia on every screen and now the search engine giant has begun testing its subscription-based game service on non-Pixel Android phones.

The recently reported Stadia has surfaced as an option by subscribers to open their Android app on their non-Pixel devices and view "this screen", suggesting using Chromecast Ultra or a computer.

The option disappears after just one game, suggesting the almost random nature of the testing process.

The company recently released the last batch of promised games for 2019, including Borderland 3 and Dragon Ball XNover 2, while the Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coming soon.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is the first game to feature Google's promised Stream Connect feature that lets players view their peers' screens so they can coordinate.

Google has confirmed four games for 2020 are Doom Eternal, Cyberpunk 2077, Gods and Monsters, and Watchdogs: Legion, while none of them has confirmed the release date for Stadia.

Additionally, in 2020, Stamina will feature more games including Doom: Eternal, Watchdog: Legion, Gods and Monsters, and Cyberpunk 2077.

Along with Pixel smartphones, Google's game streaming service supports Chrome Slate such as the Pixel Slate, the Acer Chromebook Tab 10, and the HP Chromebook X2.

Stadia is currently available in 14 countries - Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, UK and USA - with a monthly subscription to Stadia Pro costing $ 9.99 (690 Rs) approximately) in the US.
