Infinity Ward to Introduce Changes to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer |
Infinity Ward seems quite responsive to player feedback and suggestions about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Fans are asking for additional class slots in the game. Currently, Modern Warfare offers players five slots. Infinity Ward's multiplayer co-director, Joe Secot, has responded to the demand.
Hey Jocott, Joe, the design intent of the trophy system still allows you to hurt explosives? I have EOD and still feel that I feel very sad when the trophy is down. Also, the speed of tossing them out is super slow.
The intention is to make it a soft grenade counter. When trophies were introduced in MW3, there were 30 consecutive losses when destroying an explosive (I believe) with a small radius, although it was for a while. Now I will look at the loss and see where it is.
While another fan explained his issue with the trophy system. Players using the tool receive a heavy rate of damage by grenades. Trophy systems should rule out damage from grenades. Seacot replied, "I'll look at the loss now and see where it is." This may suggest that adjustments will be made to the trophy system in future updates.
Seacot also confirmed that there will be more crossovers of the newly added cranked and other game modes. One player had suggested a game mode that combines gun games and cranks, which Seacot really likes and he said, "I'm sure in the future we'll do a few things like this."
