Gossipy tidbits about a fold on the iPhone screen have been going around for quite a long time, yet recently refreshed patents show that Apple is still particularly inspired by innovation - whether it's the iPhone 12 Will not be ready in time for.
Patent As announced by Apple, Apple has issued a continuation patent on the folding show, which we have seen before. Basically, it's adding some new data on an existing patent, or simply tweaking the logged subtleties.
So while this patent is not entirely new, the way it has been refreshed suggests that Apple is still thinking right about this innovation. Whether or not it actually turns it into a complete item is not yet clear.
