The division has announced its plans to help American veterans find employment through the Call of Duty Endowment. The company is partnering with former Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis to help with the cause of Veterans Day.
As part of the 10th anniversary for the Call of Duty Endowment, which helps veterans find jobs, Activation revealed a new campaign with Mattis to raise awareness for their new "hire". Honor ”campaign.
Activision announced that 100% of its endowment helps find jobs for veterans. So far, the program has placed more than 63,000 veterans into jobs and aims to employ 100,000 elderly by 2024.
Call of Duty: On Mondays, players can support this cause. Mobile releases an endowment-themed content pack that includes game skins. Likewise, players can watch the call of participation: Modern Warfare streamers on Twitch with the CODE clan tag. Players watching one hour of streaming video will get 30 minutes of 2XP. Anyone who watches for two hours will get a Call of Duty endowment calling card.
Call of Duty also dreamer Dr. Disrespect and NBA player are teaming up with Kell Thompson, who has been working with online fundraising service Omaze, to help the endowment. There is a chance for a lucky donor to win a chance to stream with the couple.
It is a good thing to portray the Call of Duty supporting veterans in their military shooters, and Mattis specifically cites issues of veterans facing a discharge from active duty, such as PTSD.
