| Star Wars: Early Art Shows Kylo Ren Looking More Like Darth Vader |
With Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker coming on December 20, and Kyo Ren's return to a fully repaired mask, Lucasfilm concept designer Christian Alzman posted some early art ideas for Kyolo's helmet on Instagram.
As you can see, the original take on top of Kylo seemed like an attempt to emulate, in some regards, Darth Vader. There are a breathable mask element and pointed dome top that falls under the ear. Character-wise, it would fit with Kilo's praise of his grandfather but preferred to go a different route.
