These three-issue towers will fall straight out of the events of the current "City at War" storyline, which wraps up in December's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles # 100. The series will be written and drawn by Brahma Revel (TMNT Universe), with the duo Nishijima and Freddie Williams II providing variant covers.

Jenica officially joined the TMNT family in issue # 95 earlier this year. Formerly a member of the Foot Clan, he was transformed into a mutant turtle, when Donatello used Leonardo's blood to give him an emergency transfusion. The new series will come up with a new existence to explore Jenica's struggle and pits her against a new enemy.

Revel said in an IDW press release, "Jenica has always been a fascinating character, and her story is now moving in directions that none of us could have anticipated." "I am so excited by the opportunity to revisit Jane's past and find out how she is handling the recent changes in her life, all being tested by a world that is changing as fast as is."

Editor Bobby Curnow said, "Brahm has a great ability to expose the character through adversity." With Jenica Miniseries, he makes this fan-favorite character even deeper, a fast-paced and accessible story. I am also excited for those watching the back-up stories of upcoming creators, who will be featured in every issue. "

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will release on December 25 with # 100 TMNT: Jenica to launch in February 2020.
