| Rick and Morty Season 4 to Release in December on Netflix in India |
Rick and Morty season 4 will be available on Netflix in India in December, Gadgets 360 has learned. Netflix said that it had no special release date yet. If we have to make an educated guess, it will be after 8 December. That's because the fourth season of the Emmy-winning, critically acclaimed adult animated comedy - which reserved Adult Swim, Cartoon Network's late-night programming block, adult-oriented programming in the US - is set to release in two parts: Five episodes in 2019, and a few other five in 2020. The fifth episode aired on December 8. Netflix will likely drop the first five episodes in India altogether, although a weekly release format is also possible.
In addition to India, Rick and Morty have international rights in dozens of Netflix markets, including Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan. Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey and Britain, and others. The last three seasons, a total of 31 episodes, are already available in India on Netflix and all the above countries. Rick and Morty season 4 will eventually land on Netflix in all markets except the UK, where TV broadcaster Channel 4 has seized the rights.
Produced by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland - the latter also heard the titular sounds - Rick and Morty are an eccentric, drunken scientist named Rick Sanchez and his under-confident teenager Morty Smith as they go about their inter-dimensional adventures. I know The rest of the Smith family - Morty's superficial older sister Summer (Spencer Grammer), and her parents, level-headed mother Beth (Sarah Chalke), and insecure father Jerry (Chris Parnell) - get mixed up from time to time.
