| Steam Remote Play Together Now Available to All, and Valve Is Celebrating With a Sale |
The Steams Remote Play Together beta opened in October, and less than a month later, the feature has now gone public. Steam Remote Play allows multiple players to enjoy a game simultaneously, but only one of them actually owns a copy of the game. This feature is now available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and even Android and iOS. To mark the public arrival of Steam Remote Play Together, Steam is hosting a sale offering a huge list of games at a steep discount, with friends all using the co-op gaming facility Can be enjoyed.
The official Steam blog states that Steam Remote Play Together is now available to all users on Windows, Linux, and macOS and that its local multiplayer feature has also been extended to Android and iOS devices. But keep in mind that for Android and iOS platforms, users have to download Steam Link and Steam Chat App. Everyone has to launch a multiplayer game, invite people from the friend's list in Steam Overlay, select Remote Play to select and wait for them to join.
The best aspect of Steam Remote Play Together is that it requires only one player to actually own the game, while the rest can join in the fun by accepting only one invite. Apart from video, this feature also provides audio, text and voice streaming. Another notable aspect is that Steam Remote Play supports simultaneous cross-platform gameplay, so participants are not required to share the same OS to enjoy a multiplayer gaming session with friends. Steam calls for up to 4 players, or even more, to participate in a session if the game allows it.
And to celebrate the open-access of Steam Remote Play Together, Valve is hosting a sale with multiplayer games for Graves at discounted price points. Moon Hunters, Riverbend, Gunn Samurai, Road Redemption and Goat Simulator are among the titles that can now be picked up from November 25 at a low price from Steam. In addition, Steam is also hosting an event that will feature streamers worldwide. Funny Steam Remote Play Together can occur.
