Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has been circling the field of leaks for a long time, spilling beans on internal specifications such as processor and camera resolution. Now, the Galaxy S10 Lite has reportedly received US FCC certification, and documents indicate that the phone actually exists. Some details about its hardware have also been revealed from the FCC listing of the Galaxy S10 Lite. Additionally, the phone is slated to launch in India in December, the same month the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy A 91 are also rumored to make their debut in the Indian market.

The US FCC certification of the alleged Galaxy S10 Lite was first spotted by XDA developers. The FCC listing carries the model number SM-G770F, the same model number that was also recently listed by ANATEL of Brazil and has also popped up in several other leaks. One of the FCC certification documents includes three screenshots of the device's "About Phone" screen, which explicitly mentions the name Galaxy S10 Lite. The screenshot also shows that the Galaxy S10 Lite will be a dual sim phone.

Another interesting piece of information revealed from the FCC listing of the Galaxy S10 Lite is its high charging capacity which matches the one on the Galaxy Note 10 series. The "Rated" option on the Status page of the Settings app mentions "DC 11V; 4.05A", which roughly translates to a net power output of 45W or Super Fast Charging 2.0 technology in Samsung's marketing lingo. The Galaxy S10 supports 15W charging. Therefore, it would be interesting to give the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite tripling at that number and 45W charging support.

In addition, 91Mobiles reports that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will be launched in India next month, which is again a surprise after the Galaxy S11 series became official in February 2020. The report also mentions that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 10 Lite more. Also Galaxy A 91 in December. For the Galaxy S11 Lite, it has been tapped to draw power from Snapdragon 855 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The phone is rumored to be packed with a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.
