Epic Games Removes V-Bucks And Items Purchased Via Switch Method and Third-Party Sellers |
Epic is reportedly clamping down on Fortnite players, who have used the 'switch' method to buy V-Buck. An exploit found on the Nintendo Switch version of Fortnite allows players to purchase V-Bucks and chargeback on their credit cards immediately. The money was spent on purchases, but the V-Bucks remained on the player profile. Essentially, the Switch method is a credit card fraud that scammed Epic Games.
Epic Games The real reason for removing your double helix is that you did the Switch RS method with that Nintendo Switch, so if you did it with the Threat console, not jailbreak, your double helix would be removed.

Some Fortnite players have received an in-game message informing them that their V-Bucks and items purchased with these V-Bucks have been removed. However, players using the switch method are not only affected by Epic's crackdown. Many players who purchase V-Bucks and in-game items from third-party vendors have also been affected.
Epic has also removed V-Buck and in-game items purchased through third-party vendors. Although many third-party vendors may seem legitimate, there is no way to confirm whether the sellers have not purchased the currency illegally. So, players are advised to purchase V-Bucks and items through the in-game store.
