PUBG Mobile-Themed Web Series Dosti Ka Naya Maidan Trailer Released, First Episode Drops on December 24 |
Tencent announced a PUBG mobile-themed web series for Indian fans earlier this month. The trailer for Tencent's web series has now been dropped, titled Total Trailer "New Field of Duty". From the trailer, it is clear that the "new ground of friendship" revolves around the hostel of a group of young guns, the bonds of friendship and of course a heavy dose of competitive PUBG mobile sessions and references. Additionally, it appears that PUBG Mobile will soon add a drone item, allowing players to scout their surroundings from afar. In addition, a new PUBG Mobile Lite update has introduced the 4v4 Team Deathmatch mode in the game.
Beginning with the upcoming PUBG-themed web series, the official PUBG Mobile India Twitter handle shared the teaser trailer of the first episode of Dosti Ka Naya Maidan. The series features Ranjan Raj, Badri, Chinmay Chandrunush and Alam Khan - all with faces that regularly appear in YouTube videos from some popular Indian content channels. The series also features two famous PUBG mobile streamers - Rawknee and Kronten, to bring that added dash of serious PUBG mobile chops.
The trailer of Dost Ka Naya Maidan showcases the adventures of a group of youth living in hostels, who are clearly hooked for PUBG Mobile, dropping a ton of PUBG references, and even the game's Arrange Map I suggest revenge by killing enemies. Some of the quips are clever and casting is fine too, but we'll reserve our decision for now. The first episode of Dosti Ka Naya Maidan will air on 24 December and can be seen on YouTube on PUBG Mobile India Official Channel.
Above the game, it appears that PUBG Mobile is taking a lot of inspiration from its rival - Call of Duty: Mobile. A YouTuber has shared a PUBG mobile gameplay video, where the player can be seen flying a white drone to scout the area. It appears that the drone is only for reconnaissance (or reconstruction), and not actually killing enemies. Call of Duty: In the case of mobile, players can summon and destroy enemies by summoning hunter-killer drones. However, there is no word on when the drones will make it to the stable build of PUBG Mobile.
