Devil May Cry 3 on Switch Has a New Style Change System |
The Nintendo Switch version of Devil May Cry 3 will feature a new style change system.
Capcom expanded this new gameplay feature on the official Devil May Cry 3 website. You'll be able to switch Dante between the Swordmaster and Gunslinger styles at the press of a button - similar to the mechanic switching style in Devil May Cry 5.
Swordmaster means that Dante will specialize in advanced melee attacks, while Gunslinger is more defensive as it lets you attack at a distance from your guns. You will be able to level different styles and bring them to your preferred fighting style.
This style change system was not in the original version of Devil May Cry 3 back in 2005. This means that the feature is exclusive to Switch re-releases.
Devil May Cry 3 is only due to the Nintendo Switch as a digital download on February 20, 2020. It features special editions that play you like Dante's brother, Vergil.
If you haven't checked out the latest game in the series, our Devil May Cry 5 review will get you on track, because we said: "combat is the strongest series ever."
