PS5 Concept Designs Built in Dreams Are Sleek as Hell |
Sony has not yet revealed the official design of the PlayStation 5, and we all know what the hardware might be based on the leaked photos to reveal the PS5 Dave Kit. But thanks to the creation of a die-hard player and PlayStation-do-you-want game Dreams, we have an impressive, futuristic who might look like the PS5.
Dan Kuhl created the PS5 concept design in Dreams, which would be console-to-console with the suite of tools included in Media Molecule's Early Access version of Dreams. See the gallery below.
Kuhl reported that he drew some inspiration from the alleged leaked Dev Kit photos, but said he "tried to make it more like a more consumer-friendly realistic (ish) console." For Kuhl, the hardest part of putting the console together was actually pulling the ports backwards, as they hoped they would look somewhat real.
Kuhl's original rough designs have started cropping up around the web, some have tried to make them as "real" designs, but Kuhl's construction is 100% fanfic.
Kuhl wanted to note that he is not an expert 3D sculptor - much of his work in the field has come from Dreams, where he has done a lot of other designs that you can see. He has uploaded this design to DreamWare so that players can jump into the game and take a close-up look by searching for "PS5 Console Concept".
