Tracing and Pickaxe Swinging are Bannable Offenses in Competitive Fortnite |
Epic Games has revealed new rules to ensure competitive integrity at Fortnite. On some occasions, players from opposing teams make a smash not to hit each other later, unless opposing pick peaks communicate with each other using swinging and signal passivism.
Epic has added new rules that incorporate players into trending, pickaxe swings, or any other means where players can team up with their opponents. Players behaving in such manner will be subject to a penalty of teaming or collusion.
Competitive Fortnite's collusion rules include:
- Teaming: Players who work together during matches of opposing teams.
- Planned Movement: Agreement between 2 or more opposing players to land through specific maps before landing at specific locations or before the match begins.
- Communication: Sending or receiving signals (both verbal and non-verbal) to communicate with opposition players.
- Item Dumping: Deliberately dropping items to collect an opposing player.
- Epic will also take action against any kind of in-game communication between opponents including, but not limited to, pickaxe swing, sentimental, toy bouncing, and jumping. Epic has urged players to report players for fraud or exploitation. The teaming penalty has been set as a two-week ban from competitor Pernet. Repeated offenders may be subject to increased penalties.
