Nintendo Patent Shows Off Touch Pen Attachment for Switch Joy-Cons

Maybe Nintendo is planning to make some changes to the switch's joy-cons. The company has filed a patent for a touch pen attachment for Joy-Cons, which was published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Based on the pictures in Nintendo's patent, the touch pen attachment seems to be properly attached to the detached Joy-Con. The touch pen can basically function as a stylus and give haptic feedback when you touch the screen. Most games do not use the switch as much as the touchscreen. Therefore, Nintendo may have to release games that use a touch pen attachment.

It should be noted that Nintendo may never go ahead with the production of a touch pen attachment. If the company plans to initiate this attachment, it can do so even when it launches the next switch. If rumours are to be believed, Nintendo may plan to release Switch Pro this year.
