Sony Spider-Man Release Date 2021
Sony controls the rights to make movies based on its huge collection of Spider-Man and related characters. Sony has partnered with Marvel Studios for the last two Spider-Man films starring Tom Holland, Homecoming and Far Home, both of which were set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony is also working on its own Marvel films that feature Spider-Man characters without Marvel Studios. The first was Venture in Tom Hardy (released October 5, 2018) and the next is Morbius playing Jared Leto (July 31, 2020), followed by Venom 2 (October 2, 2020).
We have heard for the first time about Sony's plans after this year's Morbius and Venom. Sony's Spider-Man characters have reportedly had many qualities over the years, so this untitled Sony / Marvel film may be one of them. Finally comes the so-called. These include Silver Sable, Black Cat, Craven the Hunter, Nightwatch, Madam Webb, Jackpot and Sinister Six. However, there are many other characters in the Spidey family, about whom Sony could potentially make a film we didn't hear about.
The first trailer for Sony's Morbius revealed that the film takes place in the same world as Spider-Man and is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as shown by Michael Keaton's vulture. The meeting of these two Spider-Man antagonists is enough to make us wonder if Sony is setting up the Sinister Six, as many other villains may also be involved, such as the shocker, the scorpion, and the tinkerer, perhaps the Venezer or the teased massacre, Woody Played by Harrelson, and if Jake Gynehal's Mysterio foils his death (as has been proven by many) he can join the party Te are, as well. Sony has set up more than enough villains to reach magic numbers, and they have too many to choose from on top of them.
While there is no official villain for Tom Holland's third Solo Spider-Man film, director John Watts has stated that he likes Hunter Craven's feature for the film. He may have been thrown out of the race to claim this new 2021 date, but on the other hand, perhaps he will get his own film before crossing paths with the Wall-Crawler.
At this point, all we can do is speculate. Which movie do you want to see in the October 8, 2021 release slot?
