Netflix has unveiled 17 Indian titles on its platform for the coming months, including six new movies and two new TV series. In films, we have comedy-drama Ludo starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkumar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, and Pankaj Tripathi; Sanjay Dutt-led drama Torbaaz; Raat Akeli Hai, a crime thriller with Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui; The drama Dolly Kitty and Woh Shine stars featuring Konkona Sen Sharma and Bhumi Pednekar; The-Com Ginni Weds Sunny starring Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey; And the animated Bombay Rose. The two series are Meera Nair's A Suitable Boy with Tabu and Ishaan Khattar and the young adult romance mismatch with Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf.
The remaining nine titles have already been revealed, though we are getting the title, cast members, or for the first time a two-minute teaser as well as the released part. They are Janhvi Kapoor-led Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Kajol-led useless family drama Tribhanga: Teddy Medhi Crazy, Shabana Azmi-led horror story; Siddiqui-starring drama Serious Men; Police drama; class of 83; Dark comedy AK vs AK with Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap; The comedy-drama Masaba Masaba, starring Masaba Gupta and Nina Gupta; And contemporary drama Bombay Begum led by Pooja Bhatt and Amrita Subhash; And Bhaag Beni Bhaag (previously Messi) with Swara Bhaskar and Ravi Patel.

A Suitable Boy is a BBC native in the UK, picked up by Netflix for distribution globally, excluding the US and Canada. It is based on Vikram Seth's 1993 novel of the same name, about the passionate literary student Lata Mehra, who defies tradition, and her attention-seeking mother's wish that she be a new independent in 1951 Choose a husband in India. Nair is the director and showrunner, working on a script by Andrew Davis. As she navigates everyone's demands from her respective parents for her proposal-popping lover, it's Benny's journey to take out a life for herself amidst the chaos. It also stars Dolly Singh, Varun Thakur, Mona Ambegaonkar and Girish Kulkarni. Alankrita Srivastava (Lipstick Under My Burkha) is the show-the-runner and co-director of Bombay Begums, a woman of about five generations who grapples with her ambitions, her desires, personal woes and weaknesses in contemporary urban India. As the glass ceilings break, and the hearts break, difficult choices have to be made. And as each woman tries to find her own truth, they find each other in an unexpected understanding and slayer of a bond. It also stars Shahana Goswami, Plabita Borthakur and Aaradhya Anand.
