Redmi K30 4G

Xiaomi Redmi K30 is all set to launch on December 10 with dual-mode 5G support in tow. But for keen fans who are concerned about the premium from 5G support or the unavailability of 5G networks, there is some good news. Xiaomi has officially confirmed that there will also be a 4G version of Redmi K30. This announcement is in line with previous leaks that have broken the existence of the Redmi K30 4G variant. But unlike the official render and video teaser of the Redmi K30 5G, we have not yet seen any photos or renders of the 4G variant of the Redmi K30.

Xiaomi Group's VP and Redmi brand general manager Lu Weibing revealed in a Weibo post that the Redmi K30 will also come in 4G variants. The Xiaomi executive noted that fans who are concerned about the high price of the 5G variant of the Redmi K30 can rest assured that the lower-priced Redmi K30 4G variant will be launched as well as the asking price will be taken into consideration.

Weibing did not reveal when the 4G variant of the Redmi K30 will be launched, but we expect Xiaomi to take cover from the phone at the December 10 event where the Redmi K30 5G will make its debut. Redmi K30 has already been confirmed to pack Qualcomm's newly announced Snapdragon 765 SoC, but it is unlikely that the 4G variant of the phone will be equipped with the same 5G chipset. According to a recent leak, the 4G model of Redmi K30 will get power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The 4G variant of Redmi K30 will have a 6.66-inch full-HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 20: 9 aspect ratio. It is built to sport a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is rumored to be priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 20,000) for its 6GB + 64GB storage variant. The alleged live images of the 4G variant of the Redmi K30 suggest that it will be similar to the standard Redmi K30, but instead of four cameras, the Redmi K30 sports only three rear cameras. At the front, it will have two selfie cameras which will be placed in a hole-hole.
