Samsung Rolls Out Game Streaming App, PlayGalaxy Link Beta To Galaxy S10

The Samsung PlayGalaxy Link Beta was already available for Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ users. Now, the app is rolling out for Galaxy S10 users. The PlayGalaxy Link app streams PC games to Samsung Galaxy smartphones. The list of supported devices in early December will include the Galaxy S9, Note 9, Fold, and A90. The service was only available in the US and South Korea since its launch in April. However, regional availability has been expanded to include the UK, Canada, France, Netherlands, Italy, Russia, and Singapore.

PlayGalaxy Link connects a smartphone directly to a PC with Wi-Fi or mobile data (5G or 4G) to keep latency to a minimum. However, in areas with connection problems, the service uses adaptive FPS to optimize performance. With the PlayGalaxy Link, players can resume playing a game where they last survived. The PlayGalaxy Link app for PC automatically scans installed games and allows players to add games manually.

Users need a Bluetooth-enabled or wired controllers such as PlayStation's DualShock 4, Xbox One controller, or gamepad to play games on their smartphones. With the PlayGalaxy Link, Samsung Galaxy smartphone users can play PC games anywhere.

Unfortunately, Samsung has not provided any details about the availability of PlayGalaxy Link in India.
