New Final Fantasy 7 Remake Screenshots Show Aerith's Battle Abilities and Midgar locations |
Even though the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 remake is only one episode in a multi-part game, Square Enix said that the remake would have more than enough new content to fill a full game. Now, we have screenshots for some of the expanded regions of Midgar, as well as a look at the brand new characters debuting in the Final Fantasy 7 remake.
The new screenshots give us a better look at the identified faces like Sephiroth and Aerith, as well as older characters such as Shinra's president and his right hand Heeger.
We also take a look at a brand-new character named Roche, a 3-C Soldier "Rebel" known as "Speed Demon". Roche apparently loves the bike, the speed and anyone who can challenge him. His companions, however, enrage him - he constantly steals his rear tire and chokes them on the burning rubber smoke. "
The Final Fantasy 7 remake will be released in episodes, with each part being the complete, only part of the original game. But Square Enix also promised that each part would be expanded from the original game and would be equivalent in length to a mainline game. The first part will also be released on two Blu-rays.
To show how some of these old squares are expanded, Square Enix shared images of the train cemetery and the Shinra building. There will be many dialogues between the characters in the graveyard and event scenes can trigger the player. Neither of the two was present in the original game. Similarly, the Shinra headquarters have been expanded with more explosive areas and floors.
