Thalapathy 64 is now Master: Vijay looks terrific in first look poster

Vijay's upcoming film with director Lokesh Kanagraj is one of the most awaited films of recent times. The makers had planned to reveal the poster and title on New Year's Eve as a new gift for Vijay's ardent fans. The shooting of the film is moving at a fast pace in South India.

Sharing the first-look poster, the makers revealed the film's title to be master. According to rumours, the master is a story set against a college backdrop, with Vijay playing the role of a college professor.

In the poster, Vijay stares intently at the camera as he prepares to kill some goons. The first-look poster does not reveal anything in relation to the film and still looks intriguing. It is rumoured that there may be a second look poster which is expected to be released on January 1, 2020.

Other look posters may include Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, who essay the antagonist in this venture. Official confirmation of the second poster is yet to be made.

Recently, the makers wrapped a long schedule in the Shivamogga jail in Karnataka. The shooting of the film will begin from 1 January in a popular studio in Chennai.

Master has actors including Binay, Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea Jeremiah, Malvika Mohanan, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Gauri Ke Kishan, Arjun Das, Lintu Ronnie among others. The film, produced by XB Film Creators, will be released sometime in 2020.
