Huawei P40 Pro Alleged Case Renders Tip Dual Hole-Punch Display, Five Rear Cameras |
Back in December, Huawei confirmed that it would launch the Huawei P40 series in March this year, dropping Google's apps and services. Soon after, we started getting a series of leaks and rendering things that looked like P40 and P40 Pro. Today, we have another leak from a case manufacturer which gives us a clear look at the alleged Huawei P40 Pro. The render shows a tablet-shaped hole-punch display on the front and a total of five camera sensors on the rear. The design of the camera layout also looks similar to the first render we saw back in December.
Images posted on the Chinese networking site Weibo give us various angles of the alleged Huawei P40 Pro. The front shot of the phone shows that it has thinner bezels all around but instead of a notch, we have a hole-punch cutout for the two front cameras, like the Samsung Galaxy S10 +. The render also indicates the phone to have a noticeable forehead and a slight lip covering the section at the top of the rubber case, which means we suspect that the panel will have additional sensors.
Another image shows the Huawei P40 Pro's case from all angles, revealing protection for the physical buttons on the right, USB Type-C ports at the bottom and two cutouts for the speaker and two cutouts at the top, seemingly for the microphone Or an IR blaster and a microphone. The back has a large rectangular cutout for the camera model and additional sensors. The size of this cutout is similar to the one leaked from Onlix back in December, which we clearly didn't get on the phone. If we look a little closer at the camera sensors, due to its square shape, the one on the right is the most telephoto one. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Huawei P40 Pro has been asked to offer 10x optical zoom.
With the Huawei P40 Pro, we can also expect a P40 and perhaps a Porsche version or a Max version of the phone. There is still time for March, so we should have more leaks by the time the day arrives.
