PUBG Mobile: Top Five Features We Are Expecting in The Year 2020

What a year for mobile gaming, especially PUBG. The game has risen to fame by becoming one of the most downloaded games of 2019. We also saw powerful influential tournaments, new additions and updates to the game, and popular games also went through a period where it was banned in some areas.

As 2020 begins, we certainly have great expectations from PUBG Mobile and today we are listing some exciting features that are expected to hit the game in 2020.

The drone

We were the first to report this feature a while back. A YouTube video showing the gameplay from the beta version of the Chinese version of the game revealed that game developers would be working on adding drones to the game. Unlike Call of Duty, these drones can be used for surveillance rather than hunting enemies.

Orange 2.0

A much-awaited update, Tencent Games talked about a new version of the game's most popular map, Erangel. We have seen teasers and rumours about the new map coming to PUBG Mobile and expect it to be in 2020.

Colourblind mode

In this year's PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 Fall Split Global Finals, Vincent Wang, general manager of Global Publishing at Tencent Games, announced that a new colour blind mode will be added to the game in 2020. According to Wang, this will be a new feature. Initiative to spread the game to a wider audience.

90Hz / 120Hz mode

We have seen phones with 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates this year, but sadly, PUBG mobile is still overshadowed at 60fps. Of course, it is not so easy to only bump the frames, especially since the game is full of bug bugs. But we have seen a screenshot from a certain version of the game which confirms that a higher frame rate mode definitely works.

New Team Deathmatch Map

After adding the new and exciting ruins map on Team Deathmatch, we have heard rumours of a new map, which is being finalized for the mod. According to one report, the recently added winter mode, Ice-Castle replacing Spawn Island, may lay the foundation for the new TDM map.
