Stadia - Google's cloud-based game streaming service - is all set to launch on November 19. Prior to its official debut, the Google Stadia app has arrived on the Google Play Store and can now be downloaded to supported phones. However, currently, this app does not offer much, apart from allowing users to link their Google account which will be used for streaming games. It should also be noted that Google Stadia will not be available globally, as it will go live in 14 countries only in the initial phase. And unfortunately, India is not one of the regions where Google Stadia will be available.
As for the app, Stadia for Android is 75.08MB in size and is currently at version 1.45.278447916. Those who install the app will be asked which Google account they want to use for Stadia if they use multiple Google accounts on the same device. Talking about the devices, Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 4 are currently the only phones that will support Stadia when it is launched on November 19.
Once a Google account is specified, users will need to enter an invitation code to proceed to the app. As an invitation code, it will be sent to users who have pre-ordered the Google Stadia Founder's Edition or Premier Edition starting November 19. Or, users have to enter an invitation code received through a Stadia Buddy. pass. Stadia will let users enjoy games on PC, TV or phone.
For Stadia's library of games, it includes Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Darksiders Genesis, Destiny 2: The Collection, Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy XV, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Red Dead Redemption 2, Tom Kleins The Title Will be Division 2, Watch Dogs Legion, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood in the Others. A preview of the app on the Google Play Store gives us a glimpse of the app's UI such as the game library section, the Stadia Community Forum tile, and more.
