Sony showed what the PlayStation 5 game box would look like, as it revealed the box art for the upcoming PS5 exclusive, Spider-Man: Moll Morales. At first glance, the box design seems similar to older generations. However, a keen eye reveals minute changes in box colour and PS5 logo. PlayStation 5, whose teaser page went live on Amazon India and Flipkart earlier this week, is expected to hit shelves "late 2020".
In a blog post, Sony shared images of the physical box for their upcoming game, Spider-Man: Miles Morales. While the size and basic design layout of the next-generation game box are similar to the PlayStation 4 title, it can be seen that the PS5 logo at the top comes in black on a white background. This is in contrast to the classic white PS4 logo on a blue background seen on the current game box. Will this be the standard design for all future releases or is specific to Spider-Man: Miles Morales remains to be seen. In a slightly inconsistent change, the classic blue colour of the box's plastic also appears in a slightly darker shade than the PlayStation 4's physical boxes.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales arrives as a surprisingly delightful 2018-release sequel to Insomniac Games, Marvel's Spider-Man, which was a PlayStation 4 exclusive. The new release is expected to carry the story forward as gamers get to play as Miles Morales, as he discovers his newly discovered Superpower. No official release date has been revealed yet.
